Founder President
People with Hearing Impaired Network (PHIN) was established in 2007 under the eminent leadership of Mrs. V. Janaki, a speech and hearing impaired woman hailing from a marginalized family.
Moved by the lack of schools for poor deaf children, she established the PHIN Residential School—the first of its kind for girls in Hyderabad. She was honored with the Role Model Woman National Award in 2013 by then President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee.
